While the idea that Blues is on a new crossroads, with maybe latitude Gubbio and longitude Italy, is still to be understood.

But it is not so difficult to get it if we enter Maurizio Pugno’s music room where for 30 years blues and kindness, dobro and knowledge, musical attention and civil impatience have been coming out.

Questa storia che il blues debba profumare solo di Louisiana, l’abbiamo sentita e rispettata.

Questa cosa invece che il nuovo crocicchio possa essere latitudine Gubbio e longitudine Italia, è ancora da capire.

Ma non è difficile: basta entrare nella stanza della musica di Maurizio Pugno, dove da 30 anni esce blues e gentilezza, dobro e conoscenza, attenzione musicale  ed  impazienza civile.
